Commissioned Animal Portraits

Pricing for a portrait of one subject
Pricing is the same for Oils and Acrylics

30 x 30 – $825
20 x 24 – $725
16 x 20 – $625
11 x 14 – $525

$100 for each additional subject
I love to work in non standard sizes, so please let me know if you would prefer a different size.

Time Frame
Acrylics – 2 weeks from when I receive reference material
Oils – 4 weeks from when I receive reference material

Rush Orders – I can rush an acrylic painting for an additional $50 if it must be finished in less than two weeks.

Materials
-Oils take an additional 2 weeks to dry and should not be varnished for at least 6 months. Oils also need several months to thoroughly dry before framing.
-I work on canvas that I stretch and prime myself.
-Finished Edges: if you are not planning on framing the painting I can wrap the canvas around the back of the frame in a gallery wrap and paint the edges of the canvas.

Framing
-All commissioned paintings are unframed.
-If you are not planning on framing the piece I can have it ready to hang.

Payment
-I take a 50% deposit
-Payment can be made with cash, check or money order
-I can take Paypal for an additional 4%

Shipping
-I hand deliver my paintings free of charge if you are within 30 miles of Watertown, MA
-Paintings can be shipped at cost on request

Game Plan
-I generally set up a time to meet your pet to find out about their personality, if possible.
-At the meeting I take around 100 pictures on a digital camera to use as reference material
-If you have a photo or photos you would prefer me to work from I am happy to do so.
-I will contact you as soon as the painting is ready to be delivered/shipped/picked up

Cancellation
-You may cancel your order at any time. I will retain 20% of the commission price.
-Furthermore, I agree not to sell or paint over the commissioned painting for 2 weeks in case you would like to renew the commission or purchase the painting.

Copyright
-The artist retains all rights of reproduction and all copyrights regarding the work.
-If you would like a limited edition fine art giclee on canvas I have a reputable vendor and we can discuss pricing options

Commissioned Star Painting

-I do not currently have an order form for star paintings but they are available for commission.
-Please use the pet portrait order form and put STAR PAINTING under “pet name”
-Pricing is the same as for pet portraits.
-Sizes can go up to 48 inches. Please contact me for prices above size 30 x 30
